Hot Chocolate and Cuddling...

I'm not going to lie, today was not the best of days on my list. Tyler didn't have to work until later that night, so I was very excited to get some more of our Christmas shopping done as well as look at a few more apartments on our list. We have been hoping to find a new apartment by January so we can leave poor Tyler's family alone and have our own place now that we are married.
Well, long story short our search to find a house ended in complete frustration, as well as me breaking into a complete burst of tears. Ha! Tyler tried to calm me down but had to rush to work and I was left to cry some more on my own and listen to depressing songs while trying to wrap presents. :)
Later, Tyler's mother came home and new that something was wrong immediately (mother's instinct truly amazes me). She asked me to talk things through with her and she definitely helped calm me down. After I was done explaining my frustration she burst out, "LET'S GO TO OLIVE GARDEN!" HA! It was exactly what I needed and I burst into happiness tears! While at Olive Garden, my darling husband calls me and says, "Arianne, everything is going to be ok. I will work as hard as I can at my three jobs so that we can afford something! I promise, I will figure this out!" I gotta tell you, I have never felt so excited about the man I married! Ha! He is amazing! I am so glad that I can truly count on him for anything.
We went home from Olive Garden, I began attempting to finish our stockings, and Tyler got home and surprised me with hot chocolate and whipped cream! Ha!

Basically, the end of my story is that I am so gratefuly for amazing inlaws and most of all I am grateful for such an amazing husband! He knows exactly what to say when I am in need of cheering up. I know he will always be there to take care of me and make sure that I am happy. I love you Tyler! The end...

ARIANNE AND TYLER DESPAIN!!!

Wow! Another milestone in my life! I am now married to my very best friend and am staring a whole new life as the wife of Tyler Despain. What an amazing experience! The wedding was so beautiful and was exactly what I had hoped it would be! There were so many people that spent so much time and money helping Ty and I have the perfect wedding. Thanks to everyone who helped us and cheered us along the way! HA!

Ty and I were married in Logan, UT at a cute little place called the Ritter Mansion. It was so romantically beautiful. Our ceremony was definitely my favorite part about the whole thing. Tyler and I were both balling pretty much the entire way through the wedding, but my makeup stayed. Ha! It seriously was so beautiful! We had my long time friend Nik Day play the ceremony song as well as play throughout the reception as well. He did an amazing job! What a talented musician! He is going to go so far!

Our reception followed the ceremony and it was so much fun! We had karaoke which was absolutely hilarious! Definitely a blast and once again, everything was completely beautiful!

Tyler and I ran away from our ceremony and drove to Salt Lake where we stayed the night in my parents time share The Kimbal. It was fun, but we were both completely exhausted. Ordered a pizza, and went to bed. Ha! The next morning we drove to the airport where we got on a plane and went to LAS VEGAS!!! WAHOO!! Ha! We stayed in Excalibur hotel and it was definitely an adventure! We did quite a bit for 5 days in Vegas! We went to The Blue Man Group, went on a Gondola ride, went to 2 4D movies, shopping, slots (not too much, but when we did do it I always won Ty and my money back. Ty didn't do too great though. Ha!) We even tried to stay up late enough to watch Steve Wyrick do a magic show commercial for Ford on the strip. However, we ended up giving up around 3 a.m. and going back to the hotel since nothing seemed to be happening. Ha! Another fun thing that we did while we were in Vegas is we went to a 5 star resteraunt called Fleur De Lys on Thanksgiving. It was definitely an adventure and I will post pictures as soon as I can figure out how. Ha! The downfall to spending about $200 dollars on dinner, was we ended up spending the worth of a $150 phone as well (Tyler's blackberry storm). He left it in the bathroom and the cleaner guy must have stole it or something cause we searched that place through and through with no luck. YAY! So Tyler no longer has a phone...
I think that by the end of the trip both of us were very much exhausted and ready to go home. We missed our puppy and family for sure, but most of all we missed OUR BED!!! :)
When we got home we had to go straight to Idaho Falls for our open house at my parents house. Another fun event! HA! Honestly, I am just very much glad that everything is over and we are back to normal crazy life!

Well, that is the end of our wedding adventure. More to come! And I will definitely post pictures asap. Love you all!

Upcoming Happy Day...

Here it is everybody! In 10 days Tyler and I will be making one of the biggest commitments in our life to each other. 10 days and we are together! FOREVER!!! Ha! Honestly, it seems so surreal that this day has come so fast, and yet in some ways it won't come fast enough!
The wedding plans have definitely been insane (on top of Tyler working 2 jobs, and me taking 18 credits and working 35 hours a week). However, we are almost there and I seriously can't wait for the day to be here when I walk down the isle and commit myself to the most amazing man I have ever known.
Overall though, the plans have been going well. It seems that because of all the talented people in Tyler and my family, we are sure getting a really elegant and beautiful wedding for like, NOTHING! However, it has been really stressful trying to plan everything myself. I really am happy that I have such an amazing future mother-in-law who has been helping with everything though. We have definitely had our bumps along the way. Ha! My mother sort've had a set back on the invitations due to her overwhelming need to multi-task. :) But I love her and appreciate her doing so much for me! Sue (My step-mother) has basically taken over on the open house in Idaho Falls so that has been a huge relief to not have to worry about.
Overall, things are pretty set so I hope you all can come!
I will update you all again after the wedding and honeymoon, however it might not be until December seeing as how finals come like IMMEDIATELY after Thanksgiving break. But I will try to do it as soon as possible!

"You know you are in love when reality is better than the dream..."

So I am sad to say that it has taken me basically an entire month to actually write about the engagement, but I am doing it! That is always an accomplishment! Ha!

So Tyler proposed! We are getting married on November 21st in Logan, UT. We are both so excited and to be honest, I just wish we could get married tomorrow so I can finally be known as Arianne Despain! :) Everyone has been asking though, so here is the official engagement story.

For a pleasant surprise, Tyler had gotten off work early Thursday night and came and picked me up. He told me that we were going for a drive. We go for drives a ton, so I didn't really think it was anything out of the ordinary. He took me up to his neighborhood hill that he grew up on. We had been up there quite a bit to look at the view and talk things through when we were both stressed out. Tyler pulled up to our normal spot and just told me to walk ahead because he had to fix something on the car. I went ahead and started walking out of the car when all of a sudden our song came on ("Storm" by Lifehouse). I looked back thinking he was just being cute and romantic (he does that a lot ;). He came up to me and asked me to dance. Honestly, I just felt happy. I still didn't think anything was happening, but I can't begin to explain the feeling that started to come over me. It was like subconsciously I knew that this was it, and it was already making me the happiest I had ever been. All of a sudden he stopped dancing, got down on one knee and ripped out a ring box. AH!!! This was it! I couldn't believe he was proposing! Ha! I started balling (of course) and so was he (even though he may not want to admit that) and it was aboslutely perfect! Of course I said yes and the rest is just the rest... ;)

Needless to say, I am the happiest girl in the whole world and I absolutely cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with this amazing man! Life is absolutely amazing!

Summer adventures at Bear Lake

So Tyler is absolutely AMAZING!! My birthday was the 21st of August and Tyler planned an amazing weekend in Bear Lake. It was so fun to get away from all of the stress at work, and worrying about starting school.
Ty and I went camping at a little camp ground right on the beach so basically we spent all day everyday eating, playing on the beach, and eating some more. Ha! Tyler had every meal completely planned out, dutch oven style.
On my birthday Tyler rented some jet ski's for us and I cannot even tell you how much fun it was. I have never been jet skiing and both Tyler and I agree that one day when we are rich and famous, that is what we will be investing in. Then, that night he made me an awesome dutch oven birthday dinner: Roast, potatoes, and chocolate raspberry cobbler. YES IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE!!! Then, on Saturday we met up with Genna Roth and her family and went sailing! Ha! SO FUN!! That night we went to Annie Get Your Gun at Pickleville Playhouse. I was just waiting to be critical of everything, but I was actually really impressed! The girl that played Annie was very very talented!
So that was the end of our adventure in Bear Lake. Probably one of the best birthdays I have ever had! Take a look at the adventures!

Yes, I put up that tent by myself! YAY!

FUN ON THE BEACH!!!

Here is Tyler, working on my birthday dutch oven dinner in the beautiful sunset...

We also got to go sailing with my favorite people! THE ROTHS!!! It was great!

Oh, as a side note, Tyler got that job at Cafe Ibis! YAY! So now he will basically be working full time from 8 am to 12 pm. Sounds like an Arianne thing to do. Ha!

Arianne has finally given in to the blogging epic!

Tyler and I finally decided to start a blog. Ha! Since there are probably going to be some big changes coming up in our lives, we figured this would be the best way to keep everyone updated.

Well, this summer has definitely been an adventure for both Ty and I. As most of you probably know, Tyler lost his job and looked for about two months until he just recently got hired on as a cook at Ruby Tuesday. He also had an interview for a cooks job at Cafe Ibis here in Logan. We will let you know how that turns out. I am still working as a waitress at Ruby Tuesday as well as teaching swimming lessons at Sport's Academy Athletics Club. It has definitely been tiring, but a fun filled summer.

At the beginning of the summer we had our own place in South Logan underneath some good friends of ours, however, we recently decided that the best thing to do while we work on getting back on our feet financially is to move in with Tyler's parents here in Smithfield. We got settled about two weeks ago and we are loving being with Tyler's parents and little sister Erika. I still have A LOT of organizing to do, but it is slowly coming along. There are times we miss our old place, but we are also very glad to have that financial burden off of our minds. Here are just a few pictures of our summer adventures...

This is a picture of us in Idaho Falls for the 4th of July. Yes we were very exhausted and got WAY too much sun that day!

We had so much fun on Tyler's birthday! I took him on a surprise ride to Build-A-Bear and we made our own bears. We even got Griff one!

Tyler is always making me the most amazing and elegant dinners! This one was particularly yummy!

These are just a few pictures of our amazing apartment we used to live in... We definitely miss it!

The other little adventure in our life right now is our dog Grifter. He is absolutely HILARIOUS and definitely keeps Ty and I on our toes. Ha! He is a little cuddle bug one minute, and then the next he's tearing everything apart! However, no matter what wrong he may do, he has both Ty and I wrapped around his little paw. Here are just a few pictures of our animals adventures!

Yay! We took a ride to Idaho and took Griff into the famous Ammon Pool for his first swimming adventure! Ha! He didn't by any means love it. Ha!

Here is a picture of our cat and puppy cuddling. They love each other even though they don't like to admit it. Ha!

Yes! We love our Griffter!

Well, that's about it for now. This weekend Tyler has some sort've adventure planned for my birthday. I will definitely let you know how everything turns out. ;)
