Bloggers Block

So yes, it is true. I am not such a great blogger. I mean, I LOVE to read other peoples blogs! I guess you could call me a blog stalker! Ha! But definitely not so good at the writing aspect. I love to write! I just have a hard time letting all 15 of my readers look at my horrible writing skills. I have never been great with words, but I do think that having some sort of documentation of memories is important. Since I am not great at journals, I need to at least try to be better at blogging. So here we go... catch up time!

So Tyler and I are still happily married. Ha! I'll tell you what, marriage is definitely an adventure; but being married to Tyler is like an extreme adventure filled with complete silliness!! Ha! I think the number one thing that I have enjoyed about being married to Tyler is that I am constantly laughing. Now, I know what some of you may be thinking... (Tyler is always quiet and reserved). Well everyone, YOU ARE WRONG! Ha! Tyler is one of the most fun and hilarious people I have ever met. Don't get me wrong, marriage isn't all just peaches and cream. Every once in awhile we get a random raisin that lands in our pie (ha! I know that was a ridiculous analogy). But I truly think that that is one of the best parts about marriage. Having problems to solve together! :)
Let's be honest people, everyone fights with their spouse at one time or another even if it is just a small disagreement. I think that part of what defines a successful marriage is whether you and your spouse can come to terms with how to disagree appropriately and in a way that helps facilitate a solution. Even if that solution is to just to be ok with disagreeing. I love the fact that no matter what stresses are going on in our lives, Tyler and I can ALWAYS lay down at the end of the night, talk about our day, and fall asleep knowing 100% that the other loves us and is there for us every step of the way.

Ok, on to some new news. Tyler and I both FINALLY quit the Ruby Tuesday Restaurant world! Both of us were getting really frustrated with the corporate business drama and control and we needed out. Tyler is now happily the cook at two different privately owned restaurants: Cafe Ibis (still) and Aggies Grill. He loves both jobs and really respects the people he works for. I have also moved on to bigger and better things. I am now working at a center for troubled teen girls called UINTA Academy. Granted I have only worked like 2 weeks, but so far I love it! I think that it is going to be hard at times to stay emotionally UN-attached to the girls. Sometimes I get too attached to situations like this and I end up taking all of the emotional stress upon myself. I will keep you updated on my UINTA adventures though. I might have some pretty good stories coming.

Well, I have written a novel now (which most likely not one of you will read), so I will bid you all farewell. I will try to do better about updating. Love you all! Keep on keepin' on!!!
