Birthday Surprises

I honestly don't even know where to start this blog post. I have felt so blessed this week with amazing people who surround me every day!
I'll begin by telling you it was my birthday this last weekend, and knowing that my husband could not get off work I didn't think too much of it. But Tyler's mother (being the amazing women she is) had other plans. She called me on my birthday and said that I needed to come over to her house for a birthday bash! Ha! I obliged and it was SOOOO FUN! It was just me, Nanette, Ty's little sister Erika, and her best friend Hailey. We went to dinner and then went back to Nanette's house and ate cake and ice cream and just ended up being silly ALL NIGHT LONG! Ha! I think when Tyler finally got off work and walked through the door, he was probably completely overwhelmed with crazy girls overdosed on sugar. Ha! It was such a great night.
Now, here is the really amazing part. I have been wanting a piano of my own for a VERY LONG time now! Tyler and I have tried looking, but have not found one within our price range yet. Well, Tyler's mom sat me down and tried to talk me into letting her buy me a piano for my birthday. However, there was no way that I was going to let her do this after everything she has already done for us this year. So I talked her out of it saying that we just didn't have room in our apartment. A few days later, I came home and had a conversation with Tyler about what his mother had said. He told me not to worry about it because he told his mom to use the money she had been saving to buy him a kitchen aid to buy a piano for me.
WHAT!!!!! First of all, Tyler has been wanting a kitchen aid since the beginning of time! He had been expressing SO much excitement about it for the last few months because he was so close to getting it. At this point I was completely shocked and didn't know what to say. I began to try to talk him out of it and mid-sentence he stopped me. He looked me in the eyes and said, "Arianne, I have a hand mixer that will work just fine and besides I would give up anything just to hear you play the piano and sing in our home on a daily basis. I don't care what you say, we are getting you the piano."
Well, I started balling (yes, I know I am a cry baby! When you have a husband like Tyler it doesn't seem to take much).
Pretty much at this point I just feel like I don't deserve to have a man as amazing as Tyler, but I am definitely grateful for him and all that he does for me!
I LOVE YOU TY!!!!
